SM Pro Audio M Patch 2 Studio Controller with Headphone Amp

Chances are that if you’re looking to buy this you know all the boring technical details, so I’ll spare the usual blah blah and just simply state that this little guy was a definite investment in my little home set up. My *only two* little gripes are that it doesn’t have an on / off switch (requires power for the headphone amp) and only has one pair of balanced inputs (I would’ve preferred a second balanced input rather than the rca input). I’m still giving it five stars though. Handy, functional and doesn’t alter the sound at all.

The SM Pro Audio M Patch 2 is a compact desktop/rack-mountable sized passive volume attenuator and patch control device.Building on the success of the original M-Patch, the new M-Patch 2 is a feature packed passive problem solver for nearly all production environments. The original M-Patch circuitry has been refined to further enhance attenuation performance and control. The M-Patch 2 provides an ideal desktop or rack mounted, stereo level control solution for any audio monitoring application.A great way to passively attenuate stereo signals from soundcards, CD players, pre-amps, and mixers, the M-Patch 2 front panel rotary controls allow precise level adjustments for two input sources. Featuring balanced combo XLR/TRS input jacks and XLR o. more.
